Frequently Asked Questions

What forms of payment do you accept and is there a minimum purchase?

RupaB.com accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Paypal. We do have a minimum purchase of $30.00. 
How is sales tax calculated for my order?

You will be charged a sales tax based on your shipping address. California residents will be charged 7.25%. 
How will I know that my order was accepted?

You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been successfully transmitted. In addition, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent once your order has been shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking number for your package. You may check the status of your order at anytime by clicking on “Order Status” on the orange menu bar at the top of any page. Once you login into your account using your email address and password, click on “Order History” to view past orders and current orders that you have placed. From here you can determine when your order actually leaves Rupab.com.

How can I modify my order?

Once an order has been placed we will be unable to make any modifications to the order.
How do I shop online?

Once you're done shopping, checking out is easy. You will always be able to view the items you have added to your shopping cart on the right side of your browser window.

While viewing the contents of your cart, you may adjust quantities in your cart by changing the number to the right of items and then clicking on "update cart" after all quantity adjustments have been made.

Once you are ready to checkout with the items in your shopping cart, click on the “checkout” button in your shopping cart. At this point if you have not registered with us before, you can click on “register” to sign-up for a new account. If you have already registered with us before, simply sign-in using your email address and the password that you created for the account.

What is your return policy?

You may return merchandise within 15 days for a refund (excluding shipping) or exchange. There will be a 20% restocking fee for items returned for refund not due to our error.

Obtain a return authorization number and send a copy of your receipt with your return to ensure you receive the proper credit or refund. Exchanges or refunds will not be issued without a Return Authorization number.

RupaB.com will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred on return shipments. Please allow 1 week from the day you return your package for your credit to be issued.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping charges are non-refundable.

I purchased an item and now it is on sale, can you refund the difference?

We are sorry, but we cannot make any price adjustments.
How long does my refund take?

Once your package has been received at RupaB.com, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five business days. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your Credit Card company may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from RupaB.com.
Why do I need to register?

You do not have to register on our site if you are making a purchase. However by registering you are initiating an account that only you may access. You can access your account by using your email address and a password that you have created. Only you will have access to this information. If you are signed up on our email list, this does not mean you are registered. Perks for having an account include special sales and having access to all information about your previous orders and tracking your order.  
How do I register?

During the checkout process you will be able to create an account and you will be provided with a direct link that will walk you through the process. If you already have items in your cart and are ready to complete your order, simply click on “checkout”, and this will automatically direct you to our register page. 
What if I forget my password?

If you ever forget your password again, there is always a link on the "my account" page. By providing your email address, via a secure, encrypted connection, RupaB.com will email your password. Passwords are case sensitive.
How do I change my password?

Once you log-in to your account, you may change your password by clicking on "my account". Then click on "Account Information". Next click on the link that says: "Change password". Enter your new password and click on "Submit". "My account" is a useful destination for configuring your RupaB.com account to your liking. 
Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, we encrypt all information sent via the Internet, so that data arrives privately and securely at its destination. RupaB.com makes every effort to protect your online order by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology.

If you are still uncertain about placing your order via the Internet, we encourage you to call in your order to our office at (510) 791-6135 (Monday thru Friday from 10AM to 4PM
PST), or complete your basket up to the point of entering your credit card number, print out the order, and call us to complete the order.
How do I make changes to my account?

Log into your account, and click on “Account Information” located at the top of your account page. Make the necessary changes to your account, (i.e. email address, password, billing address, etc.) Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on “Submit” The changes you have made will now be saved to your profile. Items are charged to your card when we ship your order.
How do I order offline?

To place an order offline, please call (510) 791-6135. To check on your order, call our customer service Monday thru Friday from 10AM to 4PM PST.
Shipping Guidlines

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 1 PM PST will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and will ship within two days pending availability and credit verification. All orders placed after 1 PM PST will begin processing the next business day, and ship within 2-3 business days. Orders placed on Friday after 1 PM PST will begin processing on the following Monday. RupaB.com will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification.

We use ONLY USPS for all deliveries including International Orders.

International shipping costs, methods and disclosure

International shipping is based on several factors, including total cost of items, the weight of the package, and the destination. In order to make it easy and inexpensive for our international customers, we offer two shipping options:
 
1. USPS Global Priority rate of USD$25.00 (no tracking number provided) for packages under one pound (16 ounces).
 
2. USPS Express Mail of USD$40.00 (tracking number provided) for packages upto 2 pounds (32 ounces) 

• USPS Global Priority/Express Mail - USPS and RupaB.com provide customs-cleared delivery to more than 51 destination countries. Most shipments to Europe or Asia are delivered within 4 to 6 business days after leaving RupaB.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping charges do not include taxes or duties levied by your country. Contact your local customs office to request the details of these charges. If you decide to refuse any shipments from RupaB.com, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to RupaB.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. RupaB.com has made every effort to minimize our Non-U.S shipping costs.
